I have discovered this amazing city and i am so proud of all you for all the work you have done there. I have necer visited the USA, but I really apreciatte the way you are, the way the politicians administrate the cities and how seriously public money are used. Im a civil Engineering here and reponsible for some public construction in Sao Paulo. I really hope politicians in my country, Brazil, do the same someday. I hope someday have the pleasure to know this pretty city.

My father said he flew on Days Pay as navigator in 94th BG 410th Squadron in late 1944

To Lmkiavideos DAY'S PAY didn't transfer to another BG until after January '45. Is it possible he flew as a replacement in '44? I'd have to check the mission log, that's prior to the transfer, for DAY'S PAY, but I don't recall seeing his name.

DAY'S PAY flew over 60 missions and did not loose a single crew member. She was considered a lucky plane, her pilot, in his last days, searched for that B-17 in Arizona unfortunately it was scrapped in Kingston AZ 1946.

I grew up in Richland and I came across this. I think it’s so wonderful to see these people get noticed for their heroic deeds. They were on the ball and probably felt outside their comfort zone and abilities but performed brilliantly when necessary. It’s curious that there are no comments here. I thought there should be at least one person recognizing their heroics.

Appreciated this piece of history. My parents worked at Hanford, WA. During the war, my dad was an US Navy radar technician there and later both parents worked there on other things. I was born near there, Been told was one of the first babies at Yakima Memorial Hospital. After a tour in Vietnam I flew with the 54th Medical Detachment (MAST) at Yakima Firing Center. While there in the early 70's, I got to met some of my parents friends from that time living in Richland, WA. Like many, my folks left Hanford and moved back to Arkansas about ca 1952. Even us kids are old now but enjoyed the memories.

Tell me, I have a '97 850 GMC Service/Bucket Truck with a Lift-All boom. However my question is, my Truck has a pto driven shaft that turns on the rear facing out the rear right-side. Would a spool of some kind slip over the shaft and be used to pull a line? If so where could I get such attachment that fits onto this saft? Thanks in advance.
